Technical Development Director
Peter was appointed as technical development director in July 2012 and has joined VolkerInfa with almost 40 years' experience in the extra high voltage cable sector of the electricity supply industry. Since joining the company Peter has led an initiative to create and develop a complete delivery service including the design, procure, install, connect and pre-commission testing of cable systems up to and including 400,000 volts.
Previously, Peter held a number of senior industry roles both in the UK and internationally, including distribution engineer for the Ministry of Electricity and Water in Kuwait and general manager of the EHV Projects Business within Alfred McAlpine.
Mark has recently achieved a career milestone of serving over 30 yrs within the electrical contracting Industry. Originally beginning his career as a time served electrician Mark has managed and installed cable systems ranging from 6 volts –up to and including 400K volts. A customer focused individual who strives to deliver high quality, Mark’s hands on approach and experience brings a wide range of advantages when planning and implementing project operational delivery.
He assumes overall responsibility for the delivery, safety, productivity and quality of all VolkerInfra EHV Projects in the UK. As part of the Senior Management Team within EHV he also contributes to the work winning pipeline through industry contacts and client interface.
Tom was appointed as finance manager of VolkerInfra in October 2014. Prior to this role he has worked in a range of commercial focused finance positions, both in the UK and Australia – across a range of industries including utilities, insurance and chemical manufacturing.
A chartered accountant by profession and originally trained in practice, Tom is also a keen rugby player and fitness enthusiast.
